Quince Paste:
Sold individually
Ate is a firm jelly-like fruit paste which is traditionally made with either quinces or guava. The most common way to serve Ate is with a wedge of tangy cheese – a great addition to any cheese board. Ate can also be spread on bread and pastries like a jam.
Serve with a salty cheese such as a mature chedder or crispy fried halloumi. Ate can also be used in pastries for a firm, tasty, sweet filling.
Keep refrigerated after opening. Use within 6 weeks of opening.
